OVERVIEW
Gboard® ContraSag RG is a lightweight and hard-edged plasterboard with enhanced sag resistant properties. It is mainly used for interior ceiling applications. The core of the board consists of a special combination of non-combustible gypsum, reinforced with fiberglass and special additives. Gboard® ContraSag RG has an ivory paper face.
By using Gboard® ContraSag RG, material costs are greatly reduced mainly because of the lower number of metal frames required for installation (for the same application area compared with regular types of gypsum boards). To achieve the same structural integrity as other gypsum board suspended ceiling systems, the required thickness of the metal frames is also reduced.

Advantages
Extremely easy to handle when fixing it on suspended ceiling framing systems due to its lightweight properties.
Less metal frames used due to the large spacing between the furring channels resulting in cost reductions.

RECOMMENDATION
Do not use veneer products with Gboard® Contrasag RG.
Maximum ceiling span supports 600 mm centers.
Not recommended for exterior applications.
STORAGE & HANDLING
Store Gboard® Contrasag RG in a dry ventilated area indoors. If the boards are stored outside, they need to be fully covered with nylon to avoid water and sunlight exposures.
Avoid direct rain or sunlight.
Avoid cracking or damaging the boards during installation.
